10 ways for the unlimited motivation
Have you ever had a situation when you really wanted to do something? Then you could throw everything to do it? You have felt strong desire to do it and nobody won’t stop you?
If you have feelings like these, it means that you were very motivated.
The problem is that this appearance is appearing too rarely. Usually we won’t like to do something and for other things we will us to do this. How many projects you have refused because you haven’t had enough motivation. I have refused too many projects so that can happen again.
I decided to testing for a long time various ways to eliciting the motivation condition. I have good news for you – you can motivate yourself to the virtually everything. I will show you 10 ways which help you in eliciting the strong motivation whenever you would like to do this.
All of them are practicing personally by me for the long time and I am achieving great effects.
Use a few of them in the same time, connect and modify them. Check what run on them the best for you.
Here they are:
- Mark goals. It is the absolute basis. Marking targets give your mind to complete them. Before you start doing something, reflect carefully about what can it gives to you. It’s easier to be self-motivated when you know what can be the effect of your action. What targets mark? Let them be ambitious – bigger target is bigger excitation of your mind.
Apparently, they shouldn’t be completely unable to do but let yourself for a little bit of fantasy. You will notice fast that marking really ambitious targets will increase your efficiency. If your targets seems to be too big – don’t change them, simply divide into smaller parts and think about individual elements of bigger target.
How to establish goals? The best way is to write them down. If you only need to learn material for the test, write it on the sheet. If you need to yield the destination of your actions – you can do this exercise: on A4 draw four big circles (two circles in two rows, let them occupy the whole page). In the last circle write down or draw by symbols all what you would like to gain in the whole life. Think about your live in the future.
In the next-to-last do the same thing but which is involving only the New Year. Think about targets in the coming 365 days. Second circle – your targets for the next month and first circle – goals for the tomorrow. If you will achieve the targets from the first circle – it will be much easier to achieve those from the second circle etc.
- Visualize the achieved goal. Find 5 minutes to visualization the effect of your work. Whichever task you are planning, think how it will be when you get it done. How it will look like? How you will feel? It should be a positive images. See the effects in the best light, feel the amount of the knowledge you have gained. Think if this is completely done what you will be doing now. Feel the pleasure from the completed job. Look forwards to what you are visualizing.
Try your best to let him be rich in details. Do this exercise at least once a day for a few minutes. It’s one of the strongest tools to achieve the real motivation.
- Write down the benefits. Take the clean paper and pen and start writing down the benefits which are coming to your mind. More free time, friend’s happiness, receive the payment, possibility to go out with friends, learn a new thing.
No all of them must be strongly motivated and logical.
Write down all what come to your head ever if your reasons will be funny and meaningless. It’s important to have a lot of them. If only you create the list you will start task differently – before write down you barely can find the only one reason and now you have a lot of them.
- Plan it. Exactly plan it what you have to do. Sensibleness of how the effects can be is not enough. Planning allows to see the whole process, not only effects. Every complicated task is composite with the easiest elements.
That’s why you have only write down step by step which evaluate in the end, it will be easier to turn to elements of the whole process. Completeness won’t be so difficult because it will consists of the simple steps. It allows you to follow your progress. The knowledge about the place where you are and how far you are from achieving the target will improve your efficiency.
- Use the method of five minutes. When you have something to do but you haven’t desire , decide to doing it only for the five minutes. Tell yourself “five minutes and no more”. This perspective will simplify the way to doing this and moreover, often it will prove that if you will be doing this for the five minutes you won’t stop at this – you will do this for the long time.
- Combine the target with the best value. Think what is the main thing in your live? Health, family, love, education, good party? What you are submitting over these values? For what area you can really devote yourself? When you set this (it can be more than one thing) main thing, link it with the task which you must do.
You can do it through asking question to yourself – “What this will give me?”. What will give you learning of this material? You will pass the exam. What will give you passing the exam? You don’t have a resit. You will have more free time. What will give having a free time? You can spend it for friends or go somewhere which means the good party. It’s simple, right?

- Be positive orientated. Pay attention to your ideas. Observe them all the time, especially when you are thinking about the future task. When it seems to be negative convert into positive. End with “I can’t do this”, “It so hard”, “I can’t”. When you are telling this to yourself you are right. You are setting your brain all the time to the defeat and your productivity is counting down and you are simply unable to do this.
It’s like a self-fulfilling prophecy. When you think that you can to it, it will be easy, all will be fine – you are right. By setting your mind to success you are stimulating it to doing something. Your efficiency is increasing. Develop the habit of positive thinking. You have large opportunities and believe in this – you will be working much better. The perspective of success will stimulate immediately your motivation.
- See yourself self-motivated. This technic which is stimulating the motivation on the emotional level. It relies on to visualize yourself on the cinema screen. Think that you are sitting alone in front of a big screen and there you see a movie which is showing you doing this thing.
Imagine that you are very fascinate by doing this. Feel the enthusiasm which is boiling from the screen. See all details – a way of moving, expression of eyes, vehemence of movement. Pay your attention to the colours of the movie, sounds which you are hearing. Look out in your minds when you see yourself very self-motivated in this movie.
When you see the clear image in so strong state on the cinema screen together with all the details and emotions, enter to the screen and enter your body. Then when you do this, behave like just now you have seen yourself on the screen. Intensify these experiences.
It’s very a very strong tool which let you feel the motivation immediately.
- Listen a motivational music. You have been listening some music and immediately it has made a strong feeling? This is appearance of the emotional conditioning which is names also as an anchor. There are some incentives which are making specific states in us.
How you can use it? Thanks to all these things which you had read you can raising the strong emotion of motivation. In this moment when you have gained this condition turn on some music – preferably happy and energetic. Choose one which you haven’t been listening. When it will play, bask yourself of the strong state of the motivation. Your brain will bond it with the external impulse which is this song and if you will be listening it for the next time your motivation status will get better.
- Award yourself. An old, good method which like everyone. Think how can you award yourself for completing the target. What you can do when you will complete this task very good? You will eat something sweet? You will go to the cinema? You will let yourself for a minute of relax? The choice is yours and it’s important to think for a while about this because it shows your thinking from the difficulty of task to the pleasure of prize.
Try everything and look how it works the best for you.
